You have a good eye. Yes, that smaller heart is agate. The larger heart is made of glass. They rest on a little table, a kit from the Shaker Workshops catalog that Tim and I put together the year we were married. And the slice of wood is from a beloved silver maple in our garden that had to be taken down last summer. (That silver maple inspired a poem, “Wet Leaves, November,” published in 2018 in Third Wednesday. Here is a link to that poem: https://thirdwednesdayorg.tumblr.com/post/179661590897/wet-leaves-november .
Have a lovely and light-filled day! Leslie
Gorgeous! I am so curious what everything is in the photo, Especially the stone. Is it an agate? xo
Happy Valentine’s Day to you, Sonja!
