A Bouquet for Elaine: In Memoriam

A Candle for Elaine

My mother-in-law, Elaine Rose Forst Braulick, died peacefully, in her sleep,  in the early hours of May 31, 2016.

Born on August 1, 1926, she was laid to rest on Saturday, June 4, 2016, in the tiny rural cemetery of St. John’s, outside of Searles, Minnesota, very near to the farm home she shared with James, her husband of sixty-eight years, and ten children, eight of whom survive her.

A Rose for Elaine

Elaine loved flowers, and she shared her middle name, “Rose”, with many descendants. I think of her when I see roses blooming.
